Anime Stars tiers at a glance
Build-around heroes
The tested heroes with the strongest combination of Power growth and combat Damage.
The most complete current stat profile: second-highest reported Power bonus and the highest Damage bonus in the tested group.
- Best for
- Accounts that want one hero to advance both the incremental and combat sides.
- Watch for
- Its displayed result still depends on level, stars, equipment, and skill tree.
The highest reported Power bonus while remaining top three for Damage, so the investment does not become a pure leaderboard slot.
- Best for
- Power farming and players who want a strong all-purpose long-term target.
- Watch for
- Secret rarity and duplicate requirements can make a fresh copy expensive to develop.
Near-Madara Damage with a still-strong Power line makes Noelle the cleanest current combat-focused alternative.
- Best for
- Boss, dungeon, and world clearing when enemy health is the actual wall.
- Watch for
- Lower Power than the other S-tier targets can slow a power-first goal.
Strong account builders
Heroes with one excellent line or two solid lines that are worth keeping when already developed.
The third-best reported Damage outside the S group with enough Power to avoid becoming a one-purpose slot.
- Best for
- Players whose combat progress matters more than topping the Power board.
A high Damage bonus compensates for its mid-pack Power number and makes it an efficient combat keep.
- Best for
- Accounts that already generate Power comfortably but clear enemies too slowly.
A strong Power line and a fixed passive reported around attack and attack-speed utility make Robin more useful than the Damage percentage alone suggests.
- Best for
- Progression accounts with a developed copy and suitable equipment.
- Watch for
- Do not compare an unequipped Robin to a max-build damage specialist.
Goal-specific keeps
Good when one line matches your next objective or the hero already has stars and equipment.
A high Power bonus with low tested Damage makes Jiren useful for growth, not the first answer to a combat wall.
- Best for
- Power farming and an account that has another hero handling damage.
Another strong Power route whose Damage result keeps it out of a balanced top tier.
- Best for
- Accounts measuring progress by Power gain rather than boss clear speed.
Serviceable Power but the lowest Damage bonus in the tested group; keep when stars and equipment make replacement inefficient.
- Best for
- Midgame accounts with an already-built copy.
Damage is usable while Power trails the premium group, making Juvia a bridge rather than a final account anchor.
- Best for
- Players who pulled and developed her before a stronger carry arrived.
The base tested bonuses are low, but the separately reported critical-damage passive can justify a role in the right setup.
- Best for
- A developed crit-focused build that can actually use the passive.
- Watch for
- Current public sources conflict on its weapon slot; check the live hero card before rolling a weapon banner.
Not ranked yet: Update 2 banner
Visible current pulls without the comparable max-build data needed for an honest placement.
Confirmed on the Kaizen banner, but rarity does not reveal its max Power, Damage, skill-tree, or equipment-adjusted result.
- Best for
- Collectors or players who can inspect the live hero card before investing.
Confirmed on the current banner but deliberately unranked until a like-for-like test exists.
- Best for
- Players who pulled it and can compare the live bonuses to their developed team.
Another confirmed banner name without enough public max-build evidence for an S/A/B claim.
- Best for
- A cautious test slot, not an automatic replacement for a starred carry.
Tested Anime Stars Power and Damage bonuses
These are the published max-level, optimal-equipment test results from the August 27 comparison. They are a controlled snapshot, not the number every account will see.
| Hero | Power bonus | Damage bonus | Practical read |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rimuru | 703% | 351% | Best Power result and top-three Damage. |
| Madara | 628% | 368% | Best balanced result and highest tested Damage. |
| Jiren | 574% | 159% | Power specialist; pair with another damage carry. |
| Robin | 545% | 181% | Power-first profile with separate passive utility. |
| Sakura | 501% | 160% | Power progression rather than boss damage. |
| Noelle | 480% | 355% | Damage specialist with enough Power to stay useful. |
| Sung Jin-woo | 465% | 290% | Damage-leaning hybrid. |
| Garou | 447% | 151% | Developed midgame keep, not a new chase. |
| Beerus | 416% | 325% | Strong combat output despite lower Power. |
| Juvia | 273% | 231% | Early combat bridge. |
| Mihawk | 205% | 184% | Low base comparison; crit passive needs its own build. |
F2P upgrade decisions
A free account has to count duplicates, equipment, Stars, and time—not just the tier letter on a fresh pull.
| Situation | Best next move | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You have a starred A-tier hero and a fresh S-tier pull | Keep the A-tier carry active while developing the S pull | Ascension, levels, equipment, relics, and skill-tree progress can outweigh the base tier gap today. |
| Power rises quickly but worlds clear slowly | Prioritize Noelle, Madara, Beerus, or Sung Jin-woo | Their tested Damage line addresses the bottleneck instead of adding more unused Power. |
| Combat is fine but the next Power milestone stalls | Prioritize Rimuru, Madara, Jiren, Robin, or Sakura | Those are the stronger tested Power routes. |
| Update 2 banner produced a new Mythic | Inspect its live class, weapon slot, and bonuses before feeding the old team | Kaizen and Vilgamesh are confirmed pulls, but comparable max-build numbers are not yet public. |
| Your inventory is full during bulk summons | Protect shiny and target heroes, then fuse or sell confirmed surplus | Update 2’s auto-fuse controls can save a rare copy from being consumed by a cleanup click. |
Anime Stars gamepass value by account goal
The live pass effects matter more than a universal S-to-D picture. Check the current Diamonds or Robux price in your own menu before buying.
| Pass | Best for | Buy or save? |
|---|---|---|
| 2x Power | Rank-up and Power-focused progression | Top priority only when Power is the repeated wall. |
| 2x Damage | World, boss, dungeon, and trial clear speed | Top priority when fights—not Power—stop progress. |
| VIP | A mixed Power, Coins, and Luck improvement | Good broad value; weaker than a targeted double when one system is clearly stuck. |
| +2 Equip Champions | Developed accounts with two heroes ready to contribute | High value only when the extra slots hold real builds rather than placeholders. |
| Lucky / Super Lucky / Ultra Lucky | Players rolling across several current gacha systems | Scale with roll volume; poor first purchase when basic progression is still slow. |
| Multi Roll | Frequent banner sessions | Convenience and throughput, not a direct combat multiplier. |
| Fast Open / Instant Roll | Large summon sessions where animation time is the bottleneck | Buy for time saved, never because it improves the pull odds. |
| 2x Coins | Coin-gated worlds, hero upgrades, and Update 2 systems | Strong while coin costs are the wall; less urgent after those unlocks are paid. |
Power and Damage are two different tier lists
Rimuru leads the tested Power table at 703%, while Madara leads Damage at 368%. Noelle sits close behind on Damage at 355% but trails both on Power. Calling any one of those numbers “overall strength” would hide why a player is stuck.
Choose the column that matches the next gate. Power helps the incremental climb and rank-up loop; Damage helps remove enemies. Madara is the safest balanced answer only because it performs near the top in both, not because the two stats are interchangeable.
A max-build test is not the number on your account
The published comparison uses max level, optimal equipment, and completed skill trees. Your hero also changes through fusion, ascension, transcendence, relics, titles, accessories, blessings, clan and guild bonuses. A new copy and a completed copy are not the same product.
That is especially important for free players. Before replacing an invested hero, compare the live Power and Damage contribution with the newcomer equipped. Keep the old carry until the new one wins that real account comparison.
Spend on the bottleneck you can name
2x Power and 2x Damage are easy to understand because each doubles a specific line. VIP spreads value across Power, Coins, and Luck, while +2 Equip Champions depends on whether the account owns two more heroes worth fielding. Roll-speed passes save time but do not change odds.
If the menu still offers passes for Diamonds, compare that route with the live Robux listing before paying. Prices and bundles can change; the effect description and your current bottleneck should make the decision, not a dated screenshot of a store panel.
Keep shiny pulls out of automatic cleanup
Update 2 supports target settings and auto-fuse exclusions while bulk summoning. Review those toggles before opening a large batch, especially when shiny champions carry a 1.5x stat multiplier in the current guide evidence.
Then decide whether each duplicate belongs in fusion, ascension, or sale. Clearing inventory quickly is useful; consuming the only copy that changes your final stat comparison is not.
Methodology and limits
The hero rows use the August 27 max-level, optimized-equipment test set and separate its reported Power and Damage bonuses. The live game and Update 2 guide were rechecked on September 2 for Hollow World, the Kaizen banner, and new progression systems. New Update 2 heroes are named but not forced into a tier without like-for-like data. Gamepass advice compares the current published effects and account stage rather than treating Robux price as power.

Anime Stars tier list FAQ
Who is the best hero in Anime Stars Update 2?
Madara is the safest balanced pick in the current comparable test set, Rimuru leads Power, and Noelle is the damage-focused alternative. Update 2’s Gojiro, Kaizen, and Vilgamesh are confirmed on the banner but remain unranked until comparable max-build data exists.
Is Power or Damage more important in Anime Stars?
Power matters when account growth and the next rank-up are slow; Damage matters when enemies, bosses, or trials take too long. Build for the gate that is actually blocking progress instead of adding both percentages together.
Should a free player replace a starred hero with a fresh S-tier pull?
Usually not immediately. Keep the developed hero active while leveling, equipping, and ascending the newcomer, then compare their live contribution on the same content.
What is the best Anime Stars gamepass?
2x Power is best for a Power bottleneck and 2x Damage for a combat bottleneck. VIP is the broad mixed option. Extra equip slots only become premium value when you already own more developed heroes to fill them.
Do Fast Open and Instant Roll improve summon luck?
No. Their published value is animation speed and time saved. Luck passes affect Luck; roll-speed passes should be judged as convenience.
Is this the Anime Stars Card Collection tier list?
No. This page covers the AlphaXStars incremental simulator at place 122553263569744. Anime Stars Card Collection is a separate Roblox experience with a different roster and economy.
