Where is the garage red button?

Stand in front of the locked garage and turn toward the open shed directly across from it. Walk inside that shed and look at the counter. The red button sits on the counter rather than beside the garage door.

Press it once and wait for the quest-complete notice. The locked garage should then open when you return. A fence that still shows a cleanup requirement is a separate progress gate, so pressing this button will not remove every locked boundary on the map.

How to unlock the rooftop on The House map

Choose The House and clean the Front Yard to a true 100%. Collected leaves still sitting in the bag may need to be disposed of before the area finishes updating, so empty the bag and wait for the meter rather than judging the yard by appearance.

Once Front Yard reads 100%, return to the wooden stairs at the front porch. The interaction changes to “Unlock $0.00.” Use that prompt to open the route up to the rooftop. The unlock is tied to area completion, not a tool tier or cash purchase.

Fix a Front Yard meter stuck at 99%

One leaf can hide against a fence, wall, corner, or the edge of a prop. Walk the perimeter slowly with the tool aimed low, then check around both sides of every object instead of making broad passes across the center again.

Also check the bag state. If it is full, dispose of the current load and return. The rooftop prompt depends on the recorded Front Yard percentage, so it will not appear simply because the visible ground looks clean.

What to do when the button or door does not appear

First verify the task. The garage uses a red button in the opposite shed; the rooftop uses a free prompt at the porch after 100% Front Yard. Looking for the red button near the rooftop ramp, or looking for a percentage prompt at the garage, mixes two unrelated objectives.
