Avoid spending a region-specific reward simply because it appeared in the inventory. Unlock the related system and compare its visible costs first.
Best time to use the XP and Coin Potions
Activate an XP Potion before a continuous battle-and-capture session, not while reorganizing the Monsterdex. Use Coin Potions when the current route already produces repeatable wins and captures.
If a potion starts immediately, finish team changes before consuming it. The code itself can be redeemed now even when the inventory item should wait.
Why an older Catch a Monster code may fail
A large batch of older monster-name codes continued appearing as active on slower lists after a newer August 21 review moved them to expired. Use the nine-code table before retrying older strings.
